EcoWolf was born in 2017 as a fun and engaging way to spread the word about responsible consumption and zero waste, in particular in the Russian-speaking world.
The EcoWolf team includes Yustiniya, Steve, and the inspiration for EcoWolf: Mango the Wolf.

Yustiniya
Founder and managing editor of the EcoWolf Telegram channel. Strict with herself, but not with her cats. Loves video editing and organising events. Loving daughter of strict parents. Reluctant leader. Pretty comfortable explaining in English or French. Discovered yoga without schedule stress and now eats less meat. Favourite cities: her native Moscow and Vienna, despite the incomprehensible language. Relaxes with mountains.

Steve
Enthusiastic backstage support to EcoWolf co-founder, Yustiniya. Committee member at Zero Waste Switzerland, committed to hiding my love for ecologically-suspect snowsports and snow cannons. Communicator, procrastinator, and anti-pontificator. Confirmed flexitarian. Obsessive compulsive life-long learner.

Mango the Wolf
Mango likes to howl and be politically incorrect. He’s pretty much an egomaniac and loves the fact that he is the face of EcoWolf. Despite all of his flaws, as well as the fact that he contributes virtually nothing, he has a good heart and is indeed very photogenic. He’s mostly concerned with waste reduction as he has a mortal fear of octopuses and any talk of climate-change-induced sea level rise brings him out in octopus-related cold sweats.

Alena
EcoWolf guest editor, columnist and wine lover. I write about feelings and emotions, build bridges between people, throw clay pottery, draw flowers, bake bread and make bags to carry all of that around.

Anastasia
When she’s not working, dancing, travelling or engrossed in reading, Anastasia is making sure EcoWolf writes properly and doesn’t confuse commas with dashes.
